In the continuing efforts to help our east coast retailers and communities rebuild, Rusty is working to keep raising money, and spirits, by giving away two "Right Coast Relief" custom made surfboards at the New Jersey based surf shops Brave New World and Farias.

All Brave New World and Farias locations will be selling raffle tickets for $5 ea. that enters you into a drawing/shop party that will be held over the Memorial day weekend at both shops, in which a winner will be chosen. There is no limit on how many tickets you can buy, as a matter of fact we hope you buy as many as you possibly can, we are donating all the proceeds from the raffle to the efforts to rebuild those areas affected by hurricane Sandy, and we want to raise as much as possible!

Stop by one of the  Brave New World or Farias locations to support the cause and pick up your ticket for a chance to win. The more raffle tickets you buy, the better the chances of you winning a one of a kind Rusty surfboard, and the bigger the donation amount gets to help bring back the shore!

Rusty team rider Josh Kerr has been on a terror in the contests down under, taking 2nd place this past weekend at the Margaret River Drug Aware Pro in Australia! Kerrzy was able to blaze through heats to make it to his second final in three weeks!

Kerrzy was up against Hawaiian charger Dusty Pane in the finals, and despite an incredible display of surfing power, Kerrzy was inched out of the first place spot taking home the 2nd place win. Kerrzy now gets to add to his collection of growing Margaret River Pro trophies (he won in 2010 as well) and prep for the next stop.

Be sure to check back for the latest Rusty team rider news and info!

Just in case you stopped frothing for a second on all the unbelievable barrels ridden at Kirra this past couple of weeks TransWorld Surf just posted an edit from featuring an all star line up including Rusty team rider Josh Kerr getting shacked off their heads repeatedly!

Check out the keg that Kerrzy gets at the end of the edit, if that doesn't make you want to grab you board and get on a plane to Australia to get barreled nothing else will!

Check out the feature on Transworld Surf with Rusty team rider Josh Kerr showing and explaining the step by step moves to stomping Alley Oops. Kerrzy is an air master and there are few professional surfers who can pull these off as smooth and gracefully as he does. Check out the photos on, then get in the water and keep hucking until you get it!

This post weekend Transworld Surf Magazine and SurfRide Board shop put on Camp Shred, the world's largest surf demo at the San Elijo campgrounds in Cardiff Ca. The event went off with tons of people and families joining in to test out the latest in surfboards, wetsuits, fins, skateboards and more!

The event helps bring people to the California state park and help spread awareness and raise funds for the CA state park program. Rusty was on hand to stoke out the crowds of surfers wanting to try the latest shapes and designs. We spent the weekend hooking up our test pilots with custom made hats, stickers, and posters. A little sun burnt but it was awesome to see how many people made it out to support and test out all the surf gear.

Thanks to everyone who made it down to join us and Transworld Surf Magazine and  SurfRide Board shop for putting on such an amazing event for everyone involved!

Check out the sequence of the week featuring Rusty team rider young Noa Deane hucking a big backside rotator at wedgy D-Bah during the contest. While the world's best surfers were slugging it out to push through their heats just over the hill, Noa decided to see what he could knock out in a 35-minute freesurf at D-Bah.

He ended up landing four of these in that time, each with it's own stylish flare! Check it out here at and enjoy
