The East Coast returns to glory from its springtime low. This system tapped into the warm Gulf waters, setting up windswell for the West Florida region. The strong winds on the east side of the cold front overnight on Saturday the 21st set up rare southeast swell for Florida on Sunday the 22nd, with offshore winds all day and perfect little right dredgers. This swell also impacted the Southeast U.S. coast, setting up a great day of surf for South Carolina into North Carolina. All of this means one thing for the Outer Banks into New Jersey: solid south swell. Rusty team rider Tristan Thompson snags a sick one close to home during the East Coast glory swell.
